Silt

Every two years the Savary Island Land Trust (SILT) holds their fund raiser, Savarystock. This year it's on Saturday August 6 at the Red House, 1265 Vancouver Blvd. and Julian. There's a Music Festival and Auction in the Woods, Russell Beer, BC Wines, Live Music, BBQ, Food, Kids Activities and much more.

Triathlon

This year welcomes the 13th annual Savary Fun Triathlon on Sunday July 29th. You can register on line through Running Room or just come watch the fun starting at the barge landing.

Bible School

July 18 to 22nd for children 5-12 at the Church - 2753 Vancouver Blvd. (just West of Riggers). For more info contact Norma Berg at 604 414-4853

Savary Island Christian Fellowship

Garage sale, bake, sale , auction and silent auction on Saturday July 23. Contact Joan Kirkrod 604 483-4337. This biennial event is the major fundraiser for the maintenance and operation of the Fellowship.

Yoga

Every Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the main fire hall. Community led. $1 donation to the fire hall.

Line Dancing

Every Monday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the main fire hall. Beginners welcome. $1 donation to the fire hall.

SIVFD

Savary Island Volunteer Fire Dept. meets and trains every Wednesday at the 7:00 pm at the main fire hall. New volunteers/interested persons always welcome. First Responders meet every second Tuesday. Contact Amanda Sutherland for dates. 604 483 3373
